Look Up to HER was created by Christina Korp. It's a labor of love because of her family history in the Black Hills and ties to her Native Heritage .as part Oglala Sioux. At dinner one night in Los Angeles, while talking about the Women's Vote Centennial, art critic Josh Herman commented, "you're from South Dakota? You should put women on Mt Rushmore." Little did he know that Christina would accept that "impossible" challenge.
A veteran of the mainstream entertainment and media industry, she used her experience to create and execute global marketing campaigns. Now she is using her experience to spearhead new purpose driven projects,
Christina spent 10 years managing Buzz Aldrin Enterprises, Inc., where she managed Buzz Aldrin, his brand, public appearance and 5 book releases including the NY Times and International Bestseller “No Dream is Too High”. In July of 2019, Christina produced the Apollo 50th Gala at Kennedy Space Center to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 with a concert by Duran Duran and a drone art performance by Studio Drift in the iconic Rocket Garden. She co-founded and conceptualized The People's Moon project which resides as a permanent exhibit at Kennedy Space Center in the Saturn V Center.
She launched her career as a singer-songwriter signed to Warner Brothers, working with high-profile artists such as Ringo Starr. She ran the Tesh Media Group overseeing John Tesh’s internationally syndicated radio show, production company & record label. She was a member of his band and produced two PBS TV concert specials, 10 CD projects, three book deals and several successful concert tours.
